St Jude’s Care is a local family business who have been operating for over 9 years and in that time we have grown from strength to strength, so much so we need to increase our team. We now need a business executive who is focused on ensuring the income stream is maintained though winning new business and invoicing for the care.
Specific duties include (but not limited to):
Responsible for new business generation and increasing market share, which includes:
Identifying and developing new business leads
Building and maintaining relationships with ‘key health and social care personnel’ to promote the organisation and build the client base
Answering questions regarding the service delivery
Explaining to new clients how to navigate the care system
Timely production of information to new business leads and follow up
Maintaining accurate records and analysing for trends/clusters/turn-over/conversion rates
Assisting with the completion of tender opportunities
Preparing reports and key performance indicators (KPI) for analysis of the business to be presented at senior management/board meetings.
Production and issue of fortnightly invoicing.
Reconciling payments to invoices and monitoring/chasing bad debts.
Acting at the point of contact for financial queries and dealing with them efficiently and effectively.
The ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level and have experience in business finance. Be able convert enquiries to increase the business. A knowledge, or understanding of the care industry would be an advantage or the willingness to learn about the industry.

Salary is dependent on experience in the region of £22,000 to £28,000 (including target) per annum.
